Mechanism

The attached imaging device lets you see the target skin layer during treatment. When focused and shot at a depth of 3–4.5 mm from the skin, the HIFU-Knife hits the connective tissue (SMAS, dermis, and fascia), and a series of thermal coagulation sites are created in this area.

In the created thermal coagulation area, immediate tightening occurs due to the thermal reaction, and at the same time, the wound healing process begins. When a wound heals, a substance called cytokine is released, which activates connective tissue-forming cells (Fibroblast) to synthesize new collagen. This collagen regeneration process is essential in skin rejuvenation to reduce wrinkles and scars and induce lifting.
